Hostess: I’m sorry?

30 Days of Doctor Who || Day 3 - Favorite Villain 

I think the unnamed and unseen monster from the planet Midnight is one of the scariest things any writer in “Doctor Who” has ever come up with.

Many people argue that the villain in “Midnight” is actually the little mob of frightened humans the Doctor is trapped in the tour bus with and those people would be right. But what starts all the trouble is that mysterious knocking outside the bus and the fact that we never actually see what the damn thing looks like. 

This monster is the one thing that the Doctor never figures out. It’s the one thing that he actually wants to just leave alone (that never happens). And when the Doctor is scared of something and actually shows it, it’s time to curl up in the corner with the blankie.

30 Days of Doctor Who || Day 2 - Favorite Companion: Rose Tyler (2/2)

The Doctor: I’ll have to get a house! With - with doors and carpets, can you imagine? Me, living in a house?
Rose: [singsong voice] You’ll have to get a mortgage!
The Doctor: No.
Rose: Oh yes.
The Doctor: No. That’s it, I’m dying, it is all over.
Rose: What about me? I’ll have to get one too. Or - it could be the same one. We could…I don’t know…share. Or not, whatever.
The Doctor: Anyway.
Rose: Yeah, we’ll see.
The Doctor: I promised Jackie I would always take you back home.
Rose: Everyone leaves home in the end.
The Doctor: Not to end up stuck here!
Rose: Yeah, well stuck with you, that’s not so bad.
The Doctor: Yeah?
Rose: Yes. 

Ida: Hang on though, Doctor. You never really said. You two, who are you?
The Doctor: Oh… the stuff of legend!

Rose: Can I just say, traveling with you.. I love it!
Doctor: Me too!

Doctor:  I’ve seen fake gods and bad gods and semigods and would-be gods. And out of all that, out of that whole pantheon, if I believe in one thing, just one thing… I believe in HER!

David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor. As much as I love the other Doctors, Ten is by far my favorite. I just loved everything about him. He will always be my Doctor!
